To promote equity, diversity and inclusion within its organisation and the broader community, Notes for Inclusion by Bakare Barley has proudly updated its Inclusion Calendar 2025.
The calendar was designed by Cheshire based graphic designer Katie Lau, of KLdigitalart.
Katie said “It is essential to create a diverse and inclusive calendar in order to reflect different backgrounds, raise awareness, empower underrepresented groups and promote equity. Let us all celebrate diversity and foster inclusivity in our daily lives with Bakare Barley’s 2025 Inclusion Calendar!”
The calendar serves as a comprehensive guide to cultural, religious, and social observances, aiming to raise awareness, foster understanding, and celebrate the richness of diversity throughout the year ahead.
A Year-Round Commitment to Inclusion
The Inclusion Calendar 2025 is more than a traditional calendar—it’s a tool for education and connection. It features detailed descriptions of key holidays, and heritage months from cultures and communities worldwide.
"We know that people have different occasions that are important to them based on their upbringing, heritage or identity. We wanted to share a resource that prompts conversation and reflects the variety of meaningful occasions throughout the year that exist across our society" said Ayo Barley, MD of Bakare Barley
"With this calendar, we aim to empower our teams, partners, and stakeholders with the knowledge to meaningfully and visibly educate others and celebrate diversity."
Highlights of the Calendar
Global Cultural Celebrations: From Lunar New Year to Diwali, the calendar spans a wide range of traditions and histories.
Faith-Based Observances: Includes information about Ramadan, Easter, and other key religious events, offering insights to accommodate diverse workplace needs.
LGBTQ+ Awareness Days: Features Pride Month, Transgender Day of Remembrance among others, to support awareness and advocacy for LGBTQ+ communities.

Designed for Accessibility and Impact
