I had the joyful opportunity to work with Bakare Barley Ltd on a diverse and inclusive digital calendar for 2024.
I loved creating a calendar that celebrates different cultures and identities.
A calendar is more than just a tool to keep track of time, it is also a way to celebrate and honour the diversity of cultures and traditions that enrich our world.
Designing an inclusive and diverse calendar means acknowledging and respecting the different occasions that matter to different people.
By marking these cultural occasions, we can learn more about each other and foster a sense of belonging and community.
Drawing became my new hobby during lockdown.
As someone who works in a predominately white area and a male dominated industry, I decided to create art that I felt included in.
Representation matters, especially for people of colour. I am grateful to Bakare Barley Ltd for this opportunity, it means a lot, thank you for the support. It has been a wonderful experience working on this project.
